Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Patterns from Patons Yarns....

March is Crochet Month
March is a very special month. Sure, the flowers are starting to show and the weather is warming up, but that's not why - March is Crochet Month! Though hooks and yarn are a welcome accessory all year long, in March we stop and take a moment to appreciate this fine craft.
If you have to ask, "Why Crochet?", here are just a few of the reasons why this fabulous craft is here to stay.
Need to rush out the door? Toss your project into your bag and don't worry about losing a stitch. Make a mistake? Just pull out a few stitches and you're back on track. Hate seaming? Grab that hook and finish in no time flat. Need a gift in a hurry? Crochet is fast fast fast. From amigirumis and toys to quick afghans, to house decor galore, thank goodness for crochet.
Whether you filet crochet, tunisian crochet, make hairpin lace, or Irish crochet, grab your hooks and your yarn because this month is for you.
