Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Patterns from Hooked on Crochet

Good Morning Crocheters,

Get ready for Easter with some really cute pastel crochet patterns. You can use these patterns every year by making new ones or just bring your old ones out each year.

My favorite is the egg cozy crochet pattern from Red Heart Yarn. This is such an adorable pattern you must make it. The chicks each have a different hat on using different colored yarn. Use the cozies for something functional or just for a decoration.

Click here for the pattern and additional crochet tips.

More patterns that can be used for Easter:

1. Pansies Bouquet
2. Crochet Carnation Pin
3. Button Hoodie

Missed Last Week's Feature: In case you missed it, last week I featured the flower squares afghan and the nature inspired throw.

Happy Crocheting,

Editor of Hooked on Crochet

This bag and poncho is an easy crochet pattern that would look great on you Easter day. The pastel colors are perfect and bright.

Flowers are a great embellishment for an Easter outfit. Although these colors are dark you can change them by using more pastel colors.
