Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Off to fight City Hall and I am pissed!

Monday night I discovered that a report was going in around liquor store usages, specifically surrounding the 500 M issue. Right now as the bylaw works, liquor store cannot be within 500 m of a school, active park, etc, or even another liquor store. This is great especially in a area that is facing issues such as poverty, alcoholism, drug addiction and other issues.

However after seeing this report, Amendments to the Zoning Bylaw and Business Licence Bylaw and this report, Potential Amendments Affecting Alcohol Sales Uses, I got angry! I am on my way to talk to the Executive Committee about this. I am still spitting nails...here is my response:

June 2nd Rebuttal Letter

I am here to say Yes You Can Fight City Hall! Hear me ROAR!
