Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

From Yarnplayers....

What a great idea! I am thinking that this would be a great addition for anyone who has kids. I could totally see this with a tree, I know Mochimochi has a cute tree (pictured in the right)complete with birds. It is called Lucky. Check out her site as she has some amazing designs.

It's May and we're spending more time in the great outdoors now that it's warm! Inspired by the lush plant-life outside, we wanted to bring some of that bright green indoors!

This month's projects comes in both knit and crochet versions--this cozy, comfy rug is a great compliment for a kids' room (pair it with some cute animals for a whole play set), a whimsical craft room, or even a funky living room!

Some of the Animals:

1) Amigurumi Mouse Doorstop /Amigurumi Black Cat Door Stopper

This kitty and mouse is an adorable way to keep your door open! Make the cat all black for a cute Halloween decoration.

2) Little Lion Sock Critter

This adorable lion is king of the amigurumi jungle

3) Holiday Dove Ornament

This adorable amigurumi bird ornament is perfect for any Christmas tree.

4) Amigurumi Momma Bird
This amigurumi mother bird cares for her baby chicks.

There are many more.  I just love this...

Nature is such an inspiration for us that we even created a flower meadow table for the Martha Stewart Show last year -- see it by clicking here
