My name is Cora and I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada with my husband, 4 cats and a hedgehog. Between the 2 of us we have 6 teenagers, although none live with us. I hope to post everyday about life and my passion for knitting and crochet.
My Husband and I recently got married on June 30th. We are going to England/Scotland at the end of July for our honeymoon/tour for a local choir called the Da Camera singers, http://www.dacamera.ab.ca/.
So grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit for a spell.

About Me
Anything Knitted and Crocheted
Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.
My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.
I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.
So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Hey Cora,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice about using a larger needle when casting on (and bind off) if I need to pickup stitches. I never even thought about that. Much better then what I did, which was knit but leave a needle in the cast on. Very hard to continue to knit.
Oh only another month or so before the last Harry potter book comes out...I can't wait! I'm almost done with #3 for the second time around, I hope I can get though the next three before #7 comes out.
Have a great day!

I am glad that I could help. Isn't that what we should be doing? Helping one another? I am so looking forward to the book and to the movie. I am trying to get the Horcrux sox done and a felted double knit bag with the Dark Mark on it.
ReplyDeleteTake care
