Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

Knitting Moments
A favorite story by Michelle Edwards
Knitting Board
It all began when we were living in St Paul Minnesota and my oldest daughter was taking a summer art course at the Minneapolis Art Institute across the river and through numerous long red lights and road detours and delays. Knitting Time, I thought. My knitting is always on the floor of the passenger seat, at the ready. I carried the most portable of my stop and go projects...socks on four needles in the car, on my lap. I could knit 8, 9, 10 stitches and when the light turned green or the road worker waved us on, I dropped the knitting back on my lap, ready for the next knitting moment. Check out here for more of the story.

I really enjoyed reading this story and I hope you do too.
