Anything Knitted and Crocheted

Welcome to my blog. I hope to blog about my knitting and crocheting as well as everyday life. The patterns that I post are original and as such there is copyright on them. When they are based on another pattern there is a link to the pattern.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful dog named Leo. He is a dachshund and absolutely adorable! we adopted him on June 23, 2010 and he has become the love of our lives.

I love to share patterns that I find along the way or to talk about some of the neatest designers that are out there today, so I love to post links to the designs or the designers.

So grab a cup a and sit and enjoy the blog.

I was looking for Cell Phone cozies,

felted and came across a really bizarre item...

So of course I had to email the hubby, his response?

It'll rust

To which I ask...Why would it rust?

His response...Sorry, wrong quote.

"It'll leak" (Charles Emerson Winchester to Hawkeye Pierce)

To which I ask...Huh?!?!!?

Charles Emerson Winchester appeared in the last few seasons of M*A*S*H as a foil to Hawkeye Pierce. Rather than being stupid like Burns, CEW was abrupt, overbearing, elitist, conservative and arrogant. Winchester was a renowed surgeon in Chicago, drafted to Korea against his wishes. He attempted to use standard hospital procedure in a triage setting. Hawkeye was a master of improvisation. Viewing one of Hawkeye's Rube Goldberg masterpieces, CEW growsed "It'll leak". It's become a catchphrase.

My objection to a knitted car cozy is that it will trap water against the paint, causing rust.

Man he can be such a literalist, arg!

Well I am off to an appointment. I will let you all know what he said. Also if anyone know of a great free pattern for Noro Kureyon for a cellphone cozy let me know.
