Day Five: When designer Betty Monroe told us she'd be happy to design a Portugese fisherman sweater for us, we knew the subtle patterning would look wonderful in Country yarn. The easy knit-purl patterning on the yoke of the Birmingham Portugese Fisherman Sweater brings interest to the face while the stockinette tunic-length body is very elongating — and slenderizing — something we all may need after the holiday season is over!
