Batman has mysteriously disappeared from Gotham, leaving Robin alone to protect the city, and Superman wants to know why. Superman, disguised as Batman, has deduced that Bruce Wayne is under some kind of mind control...but by whom? A kryptonian surprise awaits him. Brainiac is found to be the perpertrator of Bruce Wayne's disappearance. Superman must now fight to protect Bruce's life and that of the entire world!
